Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) armoured medium voltage power cables are designed for life-safety critical environments where toxic smoke and corrosive gases must be minimised in the event of fire. Complying with IEC 60332-3 (bundle flame retardancy), IEC 60754-1/2 (halogen and acidity), and IEC 61034 (smoke density), these cables are the preferred choice for metro tunnels, offshore platforms, hospitals, airports, and high-rise commercial buildings requiring the highest fire-safety standards.
· Zero halogen emission – no HCl, HF, or HBr gases released during combustion
· Very low smoke density – IEC 61034 light transmittance ≥ 60%, enabling safe evacuation
· IEC 60332-3 Cat. C bundle flame retardancy certified
· Acid gas emission ≤ 0.5% per IEC 60754-1 – protects sensitive equipment from corrosion
· Full armour protection – SWA or aluminium wire armour for mechanical security
· Medium voltage range up to 26/35kV – covers all common MV distribution requirements
